Why does the chart not tick until the page is refreshed on Kite app or Kite web?

Your chart stops ticking when your device's time is not synchronised with the server's time. You need to sync your device's time settings to resolve this issue. To sync the time on the devices, follow these steps:

On Android

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap on Date & time.
  3. Tap on Network provided time.


On iOS

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap on General.
  3. Tap on Date & Time.
  4. Toggle the Set Automatically button.


On Windows

  1. Click on Settings.
  2. Click on Time & Language.
  3. Toggle the Set the time automatically button.
  4. Click on Sync now.

Your pop-out chart will not tick if you close the main Kite page. Keep the main Kite page open while using pop-out charts.

Ensure that you use the latest version of your browser. Older versions of the browser may face issues.
