What is algo trading?

Algo trading, also known as algorithmic trading, is a method of executing orders by providing a predefined set of rules to a computer program. When the predefined conditions are met, orders are placed at a speed and frequency that is impossible for a human trader.

While a user can build an algorithm and deploy it to generate buy or sell signals, manual intervention is required for placing orders, as full automation is not permitted for retail traders. Traders wanting to use this facility but unaware of coding and technical terms can visit streak.tech/home.
