Why do I receive SMS and email from NSE, BSE, and MCX when trading?

As a measure to prevent unauthorised stock market trades via investor accounts, NSE (PDF), BSE (WEB), and MCX (WEB) send SMS/Email alerts to retail investors regarding their transactions on trading days.

You can independently verify your trades by visiting the NSE (WEB) and BSE (WEB) websites.
