Why did my mutual fund order get rejected?
Your order will get rejected in case of insufficient balance in your trading account for the order to go through.
Note: If you have sold holdings to fund your order, and place a mutual fund order the same day, it’ll be rejected as the fund settlement will not be completed yet. You can place the order again the next day or add more funds to your trading account.
Also, if the order gets rejected at the AMC due to any issue at their end, the money will be refunded to your trading account and will take up to 10 working days.
Note: If your order gets rejected due to insufficient funds, the order will be placed again automatically the next trading day. This happens for the next 5 consecutive days until sufficient funds are added to your account.
