Your mutual fund order can be rejected for several reasons related to payment completion, bank verification, or data mismatches with the RTA (Registrar and Transfer Agent).
Common reasons for mutual fund order rejection
- You did not complete payment for AMC SIPs within T+5 days from the pending payments page.
- You did not complete payment for Zerodha SIPs within 5 calendar days from the pending payments page.
- Third Party Verification (TPV) for your bank account is invalid.
-
The RTA rejected your orders due to discrepancies such as name mismatch, bank details mismatch, account type mismatch, etc. To solve this, create a ticket and share your bank statement or cancelled cheque with the following details clearly visible: Name of the account holder, bank account number, name, branch and IFSC. Zerodha will contact the RTA for a quick resolution.
