You can reset your password only after updating your new contact details. You must first update your mobile number and email ID through either online or offline methods, then proceed with the password reset.
Online
- Download the account modification and CDSL KYC form (PDF).

Mention the existing details and the new details that are to be updated. The signature on the forms must match the
signature provided while opening an account.
If the Aadhaar details are mentioned, ensure that a
masked Aadhaar
is submitted. Sample copy

- eSign the forms.
- Create a ticket and attach the e-signed account modification form.
- Once the document is validated, an email with the link to complete the In-Person Verification (IPV) is sent. In-Person Verification (IPV) is the process of verifying that the person opening the account and the documents submitted are of the same person.

Zerodha will update your new contact details within 72 working hours after successful verification. You can then reset your password using the standard password reset process.
