You can add money to your Zerodha account using Netbanking for instant credit. However, there are charges of ₹9 + 18% GST per transfer, and the minimum amount you can add is ₹50.
Alternative: You can transfer funds up to ₹2 lakhs for free using UPI.
Steps to add funds using netbanking
- Click on Funds and then on Add funds.

Enter the amount to be transferred.
- Select primary or secondary bank
- Select Netbanking and click on Continue.
- Authorise the transfer on the net banking portal. If you face issues on the internet banking page, contact your bank’s customer support for assistance.
After authorising the payment, a window will pop up shortly with the details and status of the transaction.

Things to keep in mind
- You cannot add funds through the payment gateway using a current bank account. To transfer funds using a current bank account, use IMPS, NEFT or RTGS.
- Funds transferred between 12:00 AM and 7:30 AM will not reflect until after 7:30 AM.
- Zerodha accepts fund transfers only from your linked bank accounts. View your linked bank accounts by visiting console.zerodha.com/account/bank.
- You can link more than one bank account to Zerodha.
