The buy option is not available for certain mutual fund schemes because Asset Management Companies (AMCs) have suspended Zerodha SIP or lumpsum investments due to valuation and size constraints.

Alternative investment option
You can still invest in these schemes using AMC SIP instead of Zerodha SIP. AMC SIPs do not offer certain features available with Zerodha SIPs, including:
- Instant pause and resume
- Instant modification
- Step-up SIPs
AMCs impose these restrictions to manage fund size and maintain proper portfolio valuations, particularly for small-cap funds that may face liquidity constraints with large inflows.
